Connect Groups
Purpose
Our purpose is to engage, connect, and grow Colorado Community attendees by meeting in homes with a small group of people to discuss and apply the previous week's sermon in order to connect with each other and God through intentional community.
Expectations
Connect groups are formed based on available night and location. The diversity of our church is hopefully represented in each group. Each group is a little different but meets weekly for approximately 1-2 hours in a host's home and provides an opportunity to connect and have a discussion about the sermon as a small community is formed. Each session lasts for about 8-10 weeks in the spring and fall.
How to get involved
- HOST
A host is someone who opens up their home weekly for 8-10 adults to meet as a connect group.
- FACILITATOR
A facilitator receives a weekly email of discussion questions about the sermon and facilitates the discussion.
- SUPPORT
A support person is part of the leadership team and supports the host and facilitator in forming a new group.
- PARTICIPANT
A participant attends a group weekly and helps to form a small community in their group.

Why Connect Groups?
We are called to live in community and connection with one another….
"They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Every day they continued to meet together... they broke bread in their homes and ate together... and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." - Acts 2:42, 44, 46-47
"Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the Good News that Jesus is the Christ." - Acts 5:42
"Greet also the church that meets at their house." - Rom. 16:5
"Aquilla and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord and so does the church that meets at their house." - I Cor. 16: 19
"Give my greetings...to Nympha and the church in her house." - Col. 4: 15
