Costa Rica Yorkin Missions Project

July 2011 - Yorkin Village

 

Dates: Friday, July 1 – Saturday, July 9th
(departing at midnight the 1st, return at noon the 9th)

 

Cost: $1,600 per person
(includes airfare, lodging, transportation, food, project funds)

 

Payment Due Dates: 

  • March 9th $600 deposit (to purchase airfare)
  • April 13th $400 installment
  • May 11th $300 installment
  • June 22nd $300 final payment

 

Team Training Meetings: 4 required pre-trip meetings

6:30 – 8:00pm, Base Camp Englewood

Other Information:

  • PASSPORT: Apply now if you don’t have one; if you already have a passport – make sure you check the expiration date!!
  • IMMUNIZATIONS: No requirements; recommended that you be up to date on tetanus and hepatitis C.
  • We will be flying on Frontier Airlines.  They allow up to 2 checked bags.
  • Detailed packing list will be provided at Team Training Meeting.

  • Build Master Plan Site Pathway
  • Assist Panama Project with Resources

Project Costs: Total $25,000

  1. Bathrooms $10,000
  2. Kitchen and Dining Hall $9,000
  3. 15 Local Volunteers $1,500
  4. Path Costs: $2,000
  5. Panama Bathrooms $2,500
