"Stop the Bleed" Training
CCC is hosting "Stop the Bleed" Training for our Servant in Action Teams (Security, Ushers, Greeters, Parking Crew).
UCHealth presents a “Stop The Bleed” Course – free of charge. In 2015, an Nationwide awareness campaign was started and a call to action was launched. Stop the Bleed is intended to encourage bystanders to become trained and equipped to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
Bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, so quickly stopping the bleeding is critical. Those nearest to someone, with life threatening injuries, are better positioned to provide immediate care if they have had training. This can save lives until emergency responders arrive.
Join us as we empower you to assist in a time of crisis. We will also discuss the myths of “getting involved”. You will receive a course completion certificate (via email) after the course.
