Mental Health Ministry

Mental health illnesses are illnesses, just like heart conditions or diabetes. As with these other diseases, they are a result of a fallen world. And many mental disorders, like other health disorders, need lifelong management and never go away.

The Overcome class and CAVE support group are designed to also serve supporters in order to help them better understand their loved one’s struggle and establish healthy boundaries for themselves.

As the body of Christ, Colorado Community Church welcomes and embraces those experiencing mental health issues. Whether you or your loved one is experiencing depression, bi-polar, anxiety or any other type of disorder, they are made in the image of God and are immensely valuable to Him. God’s promises are not negated because of mental health issues and all people, including those with mental disorders and those supporting them, need community. Colorado Community Church is not responsible for diagnosing, medications or therapy, but we can support one another in community with the love of Christ.
