Volunteering

Volunteers at the MORE Life Community Center are considered essential personnel during this time. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Maddisen at mbaumann@coloradocommunity.org

more-life-center-200The MORE Life Community Center is about meeting the basic human needs of people while promoting self-sufficiency and maintaining the dignity of those in need. We use resource partnerships with agencies and ministries that are committed to doing the same in order to meet a wide range of needs.

We view people holistically – mind, body and spirit, while ensuring that we are moving toward specific goals of life development in a personal and relational way.

The MORE Life Community Center is a community outreach ministry of Colorado Community Church. We are committed to serving the needs of our community and our city in loving, practical and relevant ways.

The MORE Life Community Center is open on weekends to Colorado Community members and attendees and the community, Saturdays 5:15-7:00pm (1st Sat. of the month only) and Sundays 10:30am-12:45pm, and on Wednesdays, 9:30am-5:00pm

The Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic is available at the MORE Life Community Center on certain Fridays of the month. Volunteer legal professionals offer free legal consultation for a wide variety of legal matters during clinic hours. Those needing legal advice will be seen on a first-come-first-served basis. Only 5 slots are available on Fridays, and only those who sign in between 12:30-1:00pm will be seen when the clinic opens at 1:00pm. IMPORTANT: To maximize your time with the attorney, be sure to bring with you any documents concerning your matter. For a list of future dates when the legal aid clinic will be open, please contact us at arussell@coloradocommunity.org.

Our non-perishable food pantry is available to anyone in need of food, and other dry goods. Our volunteers are trained to make sure that only quality food is available.

The majority of our food comes from donations from Colorado Community Church; however, we are always looking for new resources to stock our pantry. If you are interested in hosting a Food Drive at your place of business, school and/or church, call Maddisen Baumann at 303-256-2888 or email Robert.
