Walking the Talk (June 25, 2006)
If you can draw lines and circles, you can draw. If you can hold your arm anywhere up in the air, you can do puppets!" It really is that simple, says Amy Maxfield. And if you can operate puppets, you can use the art to share the life-changing good news of Jesus, which is exactly what Amy and the Aurora campus puppet team do.

His firm handshake bespeaks a quiet confidence - a confidence not always present in soon-to-be 8th graders. Christopher Graham may be age challenged compared to some, but he demonstrates an admirable level of maturity as he serves the Lord at CCC's Englewood campus.

It's a memorable line - one she has repeated as Hattie Mae in the Martin Luther King, Jr., celebration for the last three years

Walking the Talk (April 23, 2006)
On June 21, 2006, Colorado Community Church will send a team of 39 people, led by Missions Assistant Amber Murrell, to the African nation of Uganda. The team ranges in age from 13 to some a "few years" older than 13, and is as diverse as CCC.

"I had grown up going to church but never heard what Jesus had done for me," she says. It wasn't until a retreat during her junior year in high school that the great news of Jesus was finally spoken to her. She eagerly accepted the Truth on the spot.

It was an easy step for someone who had worked in the field of publishing. As a magazine editor, Dawna Edwards had ample experience assembling a publication from start to finish. Shortly after leaving that business to spend more time with her infant son, Dawna responded to a notice in the church bulletin for help with communications projects.
