Dealing With Loss and Disappointment John 11:1-45 By Dr. Hugo Venegas Every human being at some point of life will encounter loss and face disappointment. Sometimes the way we deal with our loss and disappointment can be detrimental to our health and wellbeing. Therefore, it behooves us to learn basic ways to cope with loss in our lives. There are those who deal with the loss of a loved one, a job, a marriage or friendship. There are those who experience the loss of good health, physical mobility, financial stability or a loss of confidence in people. Disappointment is another sad reality we face often as humans. We can be disappointed with God, the church, leaders, the government, or an undisciplined child. This sermon will look at John 11:1-45 and extract some principles that will help us deal with loss and disappointment in our lives. Keys to processing loss and disappointment... 1.
