A Bit About Jami
Name: Jami Tauer
Hometown: Charleston, West Virginia
Describe your job: Receptionist/Office Administrator. I’m the first person you speak with if you call the church office, or meet if you come in to the church office.
What keeps you working here? I know that the Lord brought me here. I love being around the people, and being able to touch the lives of this church and community.
One thing people don’t realize about the staff that they need to know: How genuine they are in their faith and who they are; they truly love Jesus, each other, this church, and the Kingdom. They are also so much fun to be with!
One thing about the Father that you find amazing: That the Holy, One True God invites and welcomes me into His presence.
Beach or Mountains? Both! Although I’d rather be on the water (kayaking, boating, skiing, etc.) rather than just sitting on a beach.
Hot weather or cold weather? Neither. Cool weather – spring or fall are perfect.
Sport or Arts? Both! I love going to live theater productions for the arts. I don’t play sports any longer, but watch almost every sport – especially football.
Favorite hobby: Scrapbooking, reading, gardening, and going to the movies
Favorite food/restaurant: Tokyo Joe’s, Texas Roadhouse, Jim ‘n Nicks
Favorite date spot (or place) in Colorado? Crested Butte
The best movie of all time clearly is: Shrek. It makes me laugh every time I watch it.
Everyone should read: Crazy Love by Francis Chan, or any Jane Austen novel.
Most Embarrassing Moment? Oh my…
In the next 5 years I will: see my daughter graduate from college, be enjoying time with my husband and our “empty nest”, and most excitedly, be that much closer to when Jesus returns for His bride.
Any words of advice? We are just passing through… trust Jesus in the journey.
